Duck-Rabbit - Barleywine Ale

Duck-Rabbit is a small packaging microbrewery located in Farmville, North Carolina since 2004. Specializing in beautiful, delicious, full flavored dark beers.

The ABV is 11.0 and the IBU rating is ??
Style - English Barleywine
Glass to use- Pint Glass, Tumbler, Snifter or Oversized Wine Glass
Delivery 12oz Bottle

Can be cellared for long periods, under the proper conditions.

The Pour - Copper in color, a tan head. Good lacing.
Aroma - Hoppy and sweet.
Taste - Malty, caramel, toffee, hoppy after taste but not over powering.
Mouth Feel - Medium/high carbonation, full body, smooth.
Drinkable - A nice barleywine, I would call it an American Barleywine due to the hoppy notes. The hop kick is very subtle but you know its there.  One of the better Barleywines I have had....

This beer pairs very with cheese.
