Yards has recreated Thomas Jefferson Tavern ale - a strong golden ale - from ingredients originally specified by Jefferson himself for semi-annual brewing at his estate, Monticello. I purchased a case of the "Ales of the Revolution" which includes "Poor Richard's Tavern Spruce; Thomas Jefferson's Tavern Ale; and General Washington's Tavern Porter. I will review the over tow later in this blog.
